Photography

 Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog!

Today i want to share with you my thoughts about photography.

The French philosopher Roland Barthes in his book Camera Lucida: reflections on photography, said:

What Photography reproduces to infinity has happened only once: Photography mechanically repeats what could never be existentially repeated.

 For me, that is exactly photography. And for that reason, I not only like to see them, I also like to took them.

I took this photo of my dad and it is one of the fondest memories I have of him. He was a good, sweet and caring man, and that's exactly what you can see here.

This happened on a summer day, and we were with my cousin's family, when my dad hold baby Benjamin in his arms to show him the plants and the flowers in the garden, so I went for my camera and took a photo.

Looking at a picture connects us with that moment, and I think about how important it is to be good to those who love us, and to give a lot of love in return because neither time nor life regresses. Photography is very important in the construction of stories and that is why I love it, and I will continue to take photos of moments and people that I love.
